On this web page you can find information about the Tango Argentino scene in Slovenia and neighboring tango locations. Slovenia has three tango locations: Ljubljana, Maribor and a newly born Celje. This web page is maintained by tangueros from Ljubljana but information is provided for all significant tango events in Slovenia and surroundings.

Tangueros visiting Ljubljana can enjoy regular weekly tango events (see below). You will find the city charming, and local tangueros hospitable and open. So put that extra pair of shoes into your pockets and read on.

Visiting tangueros always enjoy a warm welcome of Ljubljana's hard-working tangueros. Please, check for our weekly and special milongas (usually on Fridays or Saturdays) or contact us.
Jenko, Tuesdays - Every Thuesday there are tango course in Dance center Jenko in downtown. Course are between (20.00 - 22.30), often followed by free dancing.
Jenko, Thursdays - Every Thursday there are practicas (same place as Tuesdays). In the course of the evening practicas turn to milongas. We dance unil midnight.
Tabor, Fridays - Often we have practica on Friday, too. From 20.30 - 22.30.
Ljubljana is blessed with regular workshops and a famous international tango Festival by world's best teachers. Whenever there is a major workshop in Ljubljana, information is available in English on this website (Osvaldo Zotto & Lorena Ermocida, Milena Plebs & Ezequiel Farfaro, Julio Balmaceda & Corina de la Rosa, Osvaldo y Coca , Leandro Palou & Andrea Misse, Graciela Gonzales, Mariano Chicho Frumboli & Eugenia Parrilla, Luis Bruni, Ramiro Gigliotti & Amira Campora...).
